  Smiletrain Yoga Benefit

I’m very excited about the Smiletrain benefit at Mystic Fitness on Saturday July 26th 5:30pm !!  Smiletrain performs surgeries on children born with cleft palates in developing countries. 100% of income directly funds surgeries.

We’re going to fill the room, and with 100% of this classes proceeds going to the charity,
we’re hoping to raise enough for at least two surgeries,  Imagine, by coming to class
you can change the lives for two children ?  and their families?

To take our Yoga to the next level, we must make space for it… we must get out of
the way.  The best way I’ve found to do this is to make an offering of the practice,
offer your practice up to a person, place, thing, or idea outside of yourself and see
your practice soar.  On this day we can make an unmeasurable difference.

Share the good Karma!!  Come support us in this noble effort, and please pass this invite along ?      Thanks so much to Amy and Mystic for donating the space !

My special guest class at Lulu Lemon was great!  Lulu Lemon makes yoga clothing.  thanks to all of you who came to practice at the Natick Collection Mall last Sunday!

  • Saturday july 5′th I’ll be giving a solar cooking lesson at the Maynard Farmers Market.  If you’ve not seen my solar oven in action come down and see what’s cookin.

Namaste!   Next trip to the temple is May 4′th.

We had a nice time on the 12′th.  Thanks for joining me!  We met up with Bhairavan,
a very happy Shiva priest at the temple.  He was very pleased to talk with us and give us Shiva’s blessing.  He was able to fill us in on why Hanuman was covererd in Butter.

Seems we came on a very important day for Rama, when he battled Ravana to rescue Sita.  The act out the battle in costume, then celebrate the victory with fireworks.  We left for dinner before the hordes of people showed!  A full temple is another experience in itself.  we’ll go back for that in the fall for Ganesha’s day.  Dinner at Dakshin was delicious, we shared many dishes.

We’re on track for the May 4′th visit.  If you can go please let me know, and let me know your geography.  If we are to carpool there might be a couple groups leaving from different areas.    We’d like to all arrive at 4pm pretty sharp.

If you can’t make the 4′th let me know, I’ll arrange a June trip, or figure a time when I can meet you there.  oh, before I forget, no photography inside…

take care!   I’ll see you in class.
